New Historic Record for Ghana in the World Cup

Ghana’s national team achieved a thrilling victory over its South Korean counterpart, 3-2, today, Monday, in the second round of Group H of the World Cup (Qatar 2022).

Ghana’s Mohamed Salisu (24) and Mohamed Qudous (34 and 68) scored a hat-trick, while Cho Joy Sang scored Korea’s two goals in the two minutes (58 and 61).

According to the “Opta” statistics network, this is the first time that Ghana has scored 3 goals in one World Cup match, throughout the history of its participation.

Ghana has not won in its last 5 World Cup matches since beating America 2-1 in the 2010 World Cup final.

Mohamed Qudous, the Dutch player of Ajax, won the Man of the Match award, and Ghana raised its score to 3 points, while South Korea’s balance froze at a single point.
